Amphenol SV Microwave’s D38999 pin and socket contact line adheres to the specifications set forth by sensor open system architecture (SOSA) for embedded system applications. These coaxial contacts fit standard and Series III housing and are offered in two sizes to fit different system needs. SV’s size 8 BMB contacts fit larger cable diameters and should be used when insertion loss is a concern. SV’s size 12 SMPM contacts are rated to a higher frequency of 65 GHz for when frequency and density matter the most.
