SB® 50 Series Connectors

Anderson Power Products’ smallest housing connector, the SB 50, works with wire contacts up to 6 AWG (13.3 mm²) as well as PCB and busbar contacts

Image of Anderson Power Products' SB 50 Series ConnectorsAnderson's two-pole SB® connectors are based on a design pioneered by APP in 1953 and set the standard for DC power distribution and battery connections. SB 50 connectors are rugged, damage resistant housings featuring a one-piece plastic housing using stainless steel springs to hold low resistance contacts in place. The smallest SB series housings fit wire sizes from 16 AWG to 6 AWG (1.5 mm² to 13.3 mm²).

    • Allows UL rated currents up to 120 Amps
  • UL rated for hot plugging up to 50 Amps
    • Great for battery or other applications where there is the possibility of mating and un-mating under load
  • Chemical resistant housings available
    • Extends temperature range down to -40°C while offering enhanced UV and chemical resistance
  • Color-coded and mechanically keyed
  • 10,000 mating cycles
