AEE 40 W and 50 W Series Converters

ARTESYN / Advanced Energy introduces two series of 1 inch x 2 inch (25.4 mm x 50.8 mm) isolated DC-DC converters for industrial applications where high-power density is required. The AEE 40 W and 50 W series is fully potted and shielded metal case construction making the two ARTESYN / Advanced Energy AEE series an ideal choice for harsh environments and enabling the modules to operate between -40°C and 80°C. An optional clip-on heat sink is available to extend the thermal performance of the unit in a convection or forced-air environment. Both series of ARTESYN / Advanced Energy AEE modules cover an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 9 V_DC to 36 V_DC and 18 V_DC to 75 V_DC to cover 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V nominal input rails and tight output voltage regulations. The output voltage of the single output versions can be trimmed by ±10% of the nominal output. The 40 W series offers single-output voltage of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, or 24 V or dual-output versions offering ±12 V or ±15 V and efficiency levels of up to 90%. The 50 W series offers single-output voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, and 24 V with efficiency levels of up to 92%. The converters feature low ripple and noise overcurrent protection and isolation up to 1500 V_DC.
