TBU-CA-Q Series TBU® High-Speed Protectors

Bourns’ TBU-CA-Q series TBU high-speed protectors with low capacitance are AEC-Q101 compliant. These single bidirectional components are constructed using MOSFET semiconductor technology and are designed to protect against faults caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction, and lightning surges.

When these high-speed protectors are placed in a system circuit they will monitor the current with the MOSFET detection circuit triggering to provide an effective barrier. This barrier protects sensitive electronics from being exposed to large voltages or currents during surge events up to the device’s specified maximum limits.

These TBU high-speed protectors come in a surface mount DFN package and they meet industry standard requirements such as RoHS and Pb free solder reflow profiles.
