EC (Electronically Commutated) Series Fans

Comair Rotron’s tube axial EC fans offer enhanced performance and are more efficient than conventional AC fans. By converting AC voltage to DC voltage, the fan electronics are able to apply much more control over the motor, resulting in less wasted heat and power. This extends the fan's life as well as reduces the overall power draw. It also allows for all the speed control and sensor output options that would be expected on a DC fan. Due to the power conversion, it offers wide input operating voltage range and constant performance regardless of line frequency (50 Hz/60 Hz). This series is UL approved and meets the ERP 2015 standard.
