Designed for low-power, high-performance, and compact applications, SMARC offers a standardized approach to accelerate users’ product development cycle.

These compact and flexible SoMs are available in two standardized sizes: 82 mm x 50 mm and 82 mm x 80 mm. SMARC modules fit into space-constrained designs, from handheld devices to complex industrial equipment. Whether users need the power efficiency of Arm®-based processors (like NXP i.MX series) or the versatility of x86, SMARC supports a wide range of architectures, providing users with design freedom. The standardized 314-pin MXM 3.0 connector ensures compatibility and easy upgrades to newer processors, memory options, and wireless technologies without requiring a complete carrier board redesign, thereby protecting long-term investments.

Optimized for battery-powered and fanless systems, SMARC modules enable the energy-efficient operation crucial for many embedded and IoT applications. SMARC provides a comprehensive set of high-speed interfaces, including PCIe®, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, multiple display outputs (LVDS, MIPI-DSI, HDMI), camera inputs, and support for integrated Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth®.
