Infineon Technologies’ port controller with power delivery is ideal for many applications including power adapters and monitors
Infineon Technologies' EZ-PD CCG3 is a USB Type-C port controller with power delivery offering a complete solution for power adapters, power banks, USB-C dongles, and more. The device integrates a billboard controller, crypto engine, OVP and OCP, dual 64 kB Flash memory, and 2:2 cross-bar switch on a single chip significantly reducing BOM cost and area. EZ-PD CCG3 supports upstream-facing ports (UFP), downstream-facing ports (DFP), and dual-role ports (DRP) while complying with power delivery 3.0 specifications.
