Image of KEMET Hybrid +125°C Radial Crown SMD Capacitors – PHS225/PHV225 Series KEMET, a YAGEO Group company, introduces hybrid radial crown capacitors with a polarized all-welded design, tinned copper wire leads, and a negative pole connected to the case. The winding is housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high-purity aluminum lid and a high-quality rubber gasket. Low ESR is conditioned by a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS) and an all-welded design. The polymer system creates an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper. The winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte that adds to the self-healing features of the capacitor.

The surface mount form factor is available in horizontal and vertical mounting options. The capacitors are reflow capable. High vibration resistance can be achieved without clamping due to the surface mount termination.
