Combining the inductor with a capacitor and the Vicor DC/DC regulator forms a complete switch-mode buck regulator in a smaller footprint than a comparable brick DC/DC regulator. Vicor offers a comprehensive datasheet for the incorporation of the Pulse Electronics, a YAGEO Company inductors, making design-in effortless.
