QPA9510 3 V General Purpose/GSM Power Amplifier

The Qorvo QPA9510 is a high-power, high-gain, and high-efficiency RF power amplifier designed for GSM and UHF applications. Built on the Qorvo advanced GaAs process, it delivers up to 34 dB gain and achieves +35 dBm P1dB output power with a single 2.8 V to 3.6 V supply. The device features an analog on-board power controller, providing over 70 dB of gain adjustment and enabling power-down via logic “low” control. Its compact 3 mm x 3 mm QFN package and flexible bias settings make it suitable for integration into space-constrained designs.

The amplifier is optimized for use as the final RF stage in GSM handsets operating in the 900 MHz band, but its wide operating frequency range (100 MHz to 1000 MHz) allows deployment in various UHF and FM radio applications. The QPA9510 supports both GSM and E-GSM standards and is tunable across sub-bands to maximize performance. The device is RoHS compliant and designed for ruggedness, withstanding output load VSWR up to 10:1 without damage.
