Image of Recom's RPMH-1.5 Series Switching Regulators RECOM's RPMH-1.5 series is an exceptional non-isolated switching regulator capable of an ultra-wide operating temperature range of -40°C up to +100°C at full load without derating and 97% efficiency. This 1.5 A series converter has trimmable outputs from 2.5 VDC to 28 VDC. The regulator comes in a tiny (12.19 mm x 12.19 mm x 3.75 mm) thermally and EMI enhanced six-sided shielding LGA package. It provides an on/off control, remote sensing, power good signals, and short-circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection.

It is an excellent choice for IIoT, high capacitive load, battery regulation applications, and systems requiring high power density.

An evaluation board was developed in conjunction with the RPMH-1.5 regulator for convenient testing of the module within customer applications. It includes a Class B EMI filter along with thermal design considerations.
