RPMH Series Switching Regulator

RECOM's non-isolated, above standard low-power switching regulator

Image of RECOM's RPMH Series RECOM's RPMH series provides 0.5 A in an extremely compact package that has been optimized for EMC and thermal performance. It is only 4 mm x 4 mm with a 3.75 mm height giving it a high power density. The RMPH regulator features a very wide input range of 4.3 VDC to 65 VDC with trimmable outputs from 2.6 VDC up to 28 VDC. It can operate in ambient temperatures from -40°C up to +95°C at full load and has an efficiency rating of up to 89%. It features adjustable output, soft-start control, power good signals, on/off control, and sequencing. It is the ideal solution for applications requiring a wide input voltage occupying minimal board space.

An evaluation board was developed for this series for convenient testing of the module within customer applications. It includes a Class B EMI filter along with thermal design considerations.
