Orion Fans' AC, EC, and DC fans are designed for harsh environments
Orion Fans' expanding line of harsh-environment AC, EC, and DC fans protect against dust, moisture, salt fog, salt spray, temperature changes, humidity, and more. These IP68-rated AC and DC fans are designed for demanding outdoor and washdown applications including oil and gas, alternative energy, commercial refrigeration, food and beverage processing, marine, outdoor machinery, outdoor telecom systems, transportation, and more.
Orion’s IP68-rated fans can be quickly integrated into customer designs. EC models are offered in 60 mm, 120 mm, and 172 mm sizes and feature energy-efficient electronically commutated motors with ATEX certification, ideal for Zone 2 applications.
DC fans are available in 60 mm, 80 mm, 92 mm, 120 mm, and 172 mm sizes, and are available with special functions to meet specific application demands including alarm, tachometer, thermistor speed control, temperature sensor, and more.
AC fans are available in 180 mm to 280 mm frame sizes.
