The I/O Switch Matrix is currently available in the LPC8xx and LPC15xx series microcontrollers. The table shown on this slide provides a count of the configurable feature set for each product. The LPC8xx series provides 36 moveable peripheral functions, while the LPC15xx provides 72 moveable functions. With the available package options, engineers will be able to fully utilize the powerful feature set of these microcontrollers through short design cycles with complex requirements. New product series offering this unique NXP peripheral are being added to the lineup. Watch for announcements of new LPC family components featuring the I/O Switch Matrix in the future.
