The new communications peripherals that were introduced to the C2000 family. Concerto devices have a full/low speed on-the-go capable USB controller and to lower in customer bomb cost, TI has an in-built PHY. Concerto devices also have a 10/100 mega bit capable, full duplex Ethernet MAC. The customer can easily add the external PHY and have full 100 mega bit Ethernet. To make customer usage of these very complex peripherals as easy as possible, not only is TI providing drivers for these peripherals, TI is also providing protocol stacks and examples that make customer integration into the application as easy as possible.
