The test results shown on the previous three slides are just examples of the critical tests. The 2D Crimp also met or exceeded industry and more demanding internal TE specifications for temperature/humidity cycling, temperature life, thermal shock, vibrations and tensile strength. TE Connectivity was careful not to release it until they had thoroughly vetted out this crimp technology. The engineer believes they have the right mating interface on these terminals in addition to the 2D Crimp to make the Standard Line of FASTONS the product of choice in Quick Disconnects.
