An important feature of the HDO oscilloscopes is the full complement of serial trigger and decode functionality. A color-coded overlay of decoded data is displayed directly on top of the physical layer signal. Users may trigger on protocol-specific information to isolate events. Up to four decodes of serial data can be running simultaneously, and these can be a combination of any protocols at any speeds. A decode table provides a quick overview of decodes and is interactive. Clicking on the table zooms into the specific packet.
