Tripp Lite PV inverters include a variety of premium features to suit every application. A universal AC output receptacle accepts more than twenty different international plug types. Select models connect directly to the starting battery with user-supplied cables, while other models feature a plug that draws power from a 12 V cigarette lighter/accessory outlet. All models include an illuminated ON/OFF switch. Compact, portable all-metal housings allow users the freedom to carry Tripp Lite PV inverters with them when they leave their vehicles or stow them safely in small compartments. Select models feature a replaceable, external “automotive-type” fuse. A cooling fan regulates internal temperature and prolongs service life. A low battery alarm/shutdown automatically detects low voltage and shuts down the inverter to preserve the vehicle’s battery. An overload alarm/shutdown feature automatically detects output overload and shuts down the inverter as a protective measure. PV inverters provide up to 700 W of continuous power (or up to 1400 W, instantaneously, in peak surge conditions) to run a wide range of devices. Tripp Lite inverters deliver up to 200% of continuous capacity, but deliver it in an instantaneous, rather than an extended, burst of power.*
