It is made from a high-strength, high-performance plastic which has exceptional thermal stability and meets stringent UL-94V-0 fire rating. The hour glass shape provides room for the metal spring clip and preventing it from interfering other components on the board. The clip’s exterior walls feature integral spring clip tabs and a uniform design allowing the heat sink and spring clip to be mounted in any direction, simplifying the installation process.
