The UCC28810EVM is an evaluation module designed for 25W, but could easily be modified with some additional devices, to help accomplish the dimming technique, for much higher power levels such as 100W. This module has an extended input voltage range of up to 305Volts AC to cover the popular 277V lighting voltage found in many of industrial buildings. This EVM is highly efficient, wall dimmer compatible, and has no 120Hz strobing effect similar to other solutions in the market. The output current is 700mA regulated DC, not a composite of the triac dimmed input waveform.
