New Product Discoveries - LabJack
This episode of New Product Discoveries covers an overview of a company called LabJack. Their focus is to create products that help users monitor and control projects remotely from a personal computer or smartphone via USB, Ethernet, and WiFi based measurement and automation devices.
They have a variety of these devices, including the focal products shown in the video that come from their 3rd generation of multifunction data acquisition hardware devices, the T-Series. This series offers USB, Ethernet, and WiFi options at a competitive price point.
The T4 and T7-Pro are just two of the devices included in this series. They both offer a variety of analog and digital I/O, on-board Lua scripting for programmable standalone intelligence, and the many support options LabJack provides.
T4 Key Features:
- USB and Ethernet connectivityv
- >4 dedicated high voltage analog inputs (±10 V, 12-bit resolution) with configurable resolution settings
- 8 low voltage analog inputs (0-2.5 V, 12-bit resolution) that can function as digital I/O lines
- 8 dedicated digital I/O lines
- 2 analog outputs (10-bit, 0-5 V) with additional possible via the LJTick-DAC
T7-Pro Key Features:
- USB, Ethernet, and WiFi (802.11b/g) connectivity
- 14 analog inputs (24-bit low-speed ADC) with configurable resolution settings
- 23 digital I/O
- 2 analog outputs (12-bit, 0-5 V) with additional possible via the LJTick-DAC
- Battery backed RTC for stand-alone data logging
- microSD card for stand-alone data logging
