Secondary Side Switch-Mode Power Supply Control

This presentation will discuss voltage and current control in switch mode power supply applications and highlight ST’s Constant Current/Constant Voltage controller products and development tools. It will review synchronous rectification for power supplies and the three topologies; flyback, forward converters, and LLC resonant, and the SR controller solutions offered by ST. Lastly, the tutorial will introduce the PM8834, a dual low-side MOSFET driver, and review its features and applications.
