The L6207 and L6227, with the increased number of features, an accurate and dedicated PWM current control is fully embedded. The two modulators, one for each motor winding, can be easily controlled by a microcontroller. The PWM modulator makes it possible to control the current in the winding and to control the torque applied to the motor. This device can be used to drive one stepper or two DC motors.
