OnBoard Stamped Antennas

Abracon’s OnBoard stamped metal antennas can support planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) technology. The implementation of the antenna's technology is at a low cost by using stamped metal. These antennas are supplied on tape and reel for electronic assembly. The OnBoard SMD antennas are a secure choice to get robust connectivity in wireless applications.

The OnBoard stamped metal antennas can be placed under components and are equipped with a space-saving feature in which no reserve PCB area is needed for the antenna, only a pad area for the antenna legs or pins. These antennas have a relatively omnidirectional radiation pattern, a mixed polarization, and a high radiation efficiency. The OnBoard antennas are ideal for protocols including Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi, cellular, 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE, NB-IoT), and positioning/GNSS.
