Adam Tech North American Charging Standard (NACS) electric vehicle (EV) charging cables are geared to support North America's fast-growing electric charging infrastructure. Originally developed by Tesla and since adopted into the SAE J3400 automotive standard, Adam Tech’s NACS cables are manufactured for robustness, safety, reliability, and 100% conformance to the e-mobility charging technology that customers demand and expect.
Slated to meet the requirements of the most common charging standard in North America, these NACS EV charging cables are certified and made to conform with UL 2251, SAE J3400, and IATF 16949 automotive production standards. With safety, quality, usability, and compatibility in mind, the NACS cables offer the following features and benefits. Because each client’s needs are different, Adam Tech offers many customizable cable options.
- Charges Tesla vehicles and other cross-manufacturers standardized for NACS
- Meets SAE J3400 standards for highest compatibility
- UL 2251 certified, bearing the UL certification mark
- IP67 waterproof when plugged in
- Added thermistor temperature sensor technology for additional heat protection
- Standard cable length options: 3 m (9.84 ft), 4 m (13.12 ft), and 5 m (16.4 ft)
- Custom cable assembly solutions featuring custom lengths, ferrule, lug, wire stripping options, and more
- Produced in an IATF 16949 facility to ensure the highest quality, safety, and construction
- Highly durable glass-reinforced thermoplastic insulator, UL 94 V-0 rated
- Robust pin touch protection for added safety, meeting IP2XB degree of protection
- Ergonomic handle for ease of use
- Available with Adam Tech’s logo or blank options
- AC charging with current rating options of 16 A, 32 A, 40 A, and 48 A
- DC charging options will follow
