Ruggedized Active Optical Cable AOC HDMI

The Amphenol PCD harsh-environment solution for HDMI series is the active optical cable (AOC) HDMI. In the copper version, the performance of the HDMI 2.0 protocol decreases from 5 meters. The HDMI 2.0 AOC is a plug-and-play hybrid cable with copper for the power supply and fiber for the signal. With this technology, an external power supply is not needed, just the power from a source.

The main characteristic is the ability to expand this signal up to a maximum of 100 m with guaranteed performances with the HDMI cordset provided by Amphenol. Shock, vibration, and traction resistance with improved EMI protection. The cable material is manufactured from polyurethane.

The AOC HDMI cables are IP68 sealed when mated and can still hold their sealed rating during temporary immersion. A variety of materials and platings allow for customer satisfaction based on application. These are tested to MIL-STD equivalents and meet or exceed specifications for a D3899 series III connector.

 These cables are compatible to mate with any of the HDMIFTV series (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) with an anti-decoupling device.
