XLamp® XP-L and XP-P LEDs

Since the 2008 XLamp XP-E White LEDs launch, the Cree LED XLamp XP series has excelled in the high-power LED lighting class. Offering unparalleled optical control, efficiency, and reliability, these LEDs come in a wide variety of colors and performance options. XLamp XP LEDs provide superior output and efficacy, making them ideal for a diverse range of lighting applications, including outdoor, architectural, transportation, portable, and horticultural lighting.

XP-L White - XLamp XP-L LEDs are the highest performing in the Cree LED single-die LED platform; they are available in high density (HD) and high intensity (HI) versions. The XLamp XP-L HI LED is designed to maximize candela through secondary optics and produces 120% more candela than the XP-L HD LED using the same optic.

XP-L Color - XLamp XP-L Color LEDs are multi-color RGBW LEDs that deliver high lumen output and superior color mixing in a compact 3.45 mm x 3.45 mm package. With minimal spacing between LED dies, these LEDs create a small optical source, enabling excellent optical control and efficient color blending. Optimized for high-performance RGBW lighting applications, the XP-L Color LEDs are ideal for color-changing, stage, architectural and entertainment lighting.

XP-L2 White - The XLamp XP-L2 LED enhances lumen density, voltage characteristics, and reliability compared to the XP-L LED, all within the same compact 3.45 mm x 3.45 mm package. This excellent performance allows lighting manufacturers to create differentiated solutions at lower system costs, which is ideal for roadway, outdoor area, spot, and high-bay lighting applications.

XP-P White - XLamp XP-P LEDs deliver breakthrough levels of intensity and optical control in the familiar XP footprint. Capable of producing up to 700 lumens at maximum current from a compact light-emitting surface (LES), the XP-P enables tighter beam angles and extended throw distances, outperforming previous XLamp LEDs. Optimized for applications requiring extreme intensity, such as aftermarket automotive, professional portable, architectural, and entertainment lighting, the XP-P LED offers high performance and reliability standards.
