This is a contacting potentiometer-based sensor, that does not have electromagnetic interference issues. The sensor has CTS’ proprietary resistor film which is optimized for durability and accuracy. The 330 series is validated to meet a lifetime of over 1 million full strokes and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It has an absolute linearity of 2.5% over the full range of motion.
