Eaton's surface-mount, low-profile SMBF size TVS diode surge suppressors are offered with 1,500 W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000 μs waveform. This SMBF package offers a more compact solution for 1,500 W protection vs traditional industry-standard diode footprints. They come with a fast response time that is typically less than 1.0 ps from 0 V to V_BR minimum. They also provide excellent surge clamping capability and longevity during transient events. These AEC-Q101 qualified TVS diodes are available in unidirectional and bidirectional protection characteristics and are designed to be used in automotive and other high-reliability applications.
