Hirose's DF20 connector, part of the SignalBee line of cable connectors, is designed for use in applications such as notebook PCs, small office automation equipment, and small portable consumer devices. Any application requiring low-profile reliable board-to-cable connection with a 28 AWG, 30 AWG, 32 AWG conductors. The DF20 series has a contact pitch of 1 mm, which allows reliable solder and cable termination. A reliable electrical connection wipe assures an effective electrical connection with a 1 mm wipe of mating contacts. The narrow external width and length decrease the overall length of the board mount receptacle and permit end-to-end mounting of several connectors. Product variations are available in 10-, 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-contacts. Pin headers are available with or without board positioning bosses. Depending on the application, pin headers can be ordered in straight or right angle types.
