Image of KEMET's Multilayer Metallized Paper EMI Suppression SMD Capacitors – SMP253 Series KEMET, a YAGEO Company, releases surface mount capacitors made of metallized paper encapsulated and impregnated in self-extinguishing material. They meet the requirements of UL 94 V–0 and give higher self-healing performance than other film dielectric technologies with lower carbon/hydrogen (C/H) ratio residues after dielectric breakdowns. The SMP253's electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression capability offers worldwide use as an EMI suppressor in all Y2 applications, line-to-earth.
