Color-Keyed SMT Test Points

Keystone Electronics has developed a series of surface-mountable test points with a color-keyed insulator base for visibility and quick identification. The wire loop provides convenient access points for J-hooks and test probes. Identification of test points in high-density PCB packages is the key to greater PCB production testing and service troubleshooting. The test points are manufactured from phosphor bronze with a silver-plating allowing for superior soldering and low electrical resistance. The colored identification base is manufactured from high-temperature LCP suitable for SMT reflow soldering operations. The test points are packaged on tape and reel per ANSI/EIA-481 standard for compatibility with pick and place assembly systems. Ten varieties of colored bases are available: red, black, white, yellow, orange, brown, green, blue, purple, and gray. Other colors are available by special order.
