Pepperl+Fuchs ICE2 (EtherNet/IP) and ICE3 (PROFINET) IO-Link master series support the industry’s leading protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and MODBUS TCP, and offer an OPC UA and MQTT interface in addition to the real-time fieldbus protocol. With MultiLink™, multiple sources can access the device in parallel and make the right data available wherever it is needed. Whether with a traditional PLC and an industrial PC or as a purely HMI, SCADA, or cloud-based application, IO-Link masters from Pepperl+Fuchs offer the most flexibility and planning reliability.
Features
- Web-based configuration of module and IO-Link devices
- Integrated IODD storage for more than 100 IODDs
- M12 L-coded power connector or screw terminals/pluggable push-in connectors (DIN rail version)
- EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, and MQTT support
- Downloadable module configuration: PortVision® DX software offers network configuration, device management, and settings cloning/backup in one application
- Eight inputs and outputs
- Degrees of protection: IP67 (block version) and IP20 (DIN rail version)
Applications
- Connecting IO-Link devices for factory automation, including automotive, material handling, AGV, on-machine/CNC, packaging, consumer goods manufacturing, and food and beverage
- MultiLink allows use of a PLC protocol EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or Modbus TCP along with simultaneous use of OPC UA and MQTT for HMI, SCADA, or Cloud connection
- OPC UA and MQTT interface allow IO-Link data to be sent directly to HMI, SCADA, or Cloud systems with no PLC required
