ArcZero DC Connectors

Phoenix Contact's ArcZero connector is an innovative piece of electronics built directly in that actively quenches the electric arc. It allows the user to safely shut down selected areas when they need to be replaced or serviced while the rest of the system remains in operation, eliminating unnecessary downtime.

DC power grids are becoming increasingly important in implementing sustainable production. The direct current generated by renewable energy sources can directly supply electricity to the loads in the grid (to machines, motors, or conveyor belts) without conversion losses.
