RT Series Surface Mount Tuning Fork Crystals 32.768 kHz

Raltron’s RT series surface mount tuning fork crystals are designed to generate a single frequency of 32.768 kHz. The main benefit of this type of crystal is the low power consumption of 0.1 µW compared to most AT-cut crystals, which require 10 µW or more. Non-standard ESR values are also available.

Tuning fork crystals originally designed for timekeeping circuitry in watches and clocks are now used in a wide range of communications and measuring equipment, wireless communications, computers, tablets, GPS navigation modules, small Bluetooth® docking products, wearables, various medical devices, including glucose monitoring and drug delivery devices, smartphones, and IoT wireless applications.
