Click Shield

Red Pitaya's Click Shield is a versatile expansion module for the Red Pitaya board. This accessory transforms the board into a multifunctional powerhouse, providing the capability to connect up to two MikroElektronika Click boards™ directly to the Red Pitaya. Whether the project requires high-resolution ADC, GPS modules, LoRa connectivity, or an LCD screen, the Red Pitaya Click Shield elevates the work to new heights.

Seamless integration and synchronization of clock and trigger signals across multiple devices ensures high performance and efficiency. The Red Pitaya Click Shield also offers flexibility in power options, allowing the use of an external USB C power adapter or a 12 V to 24 V external power supply. Additionally, it is equipped with U.FL connectors for attaching an external reference clock, further enhancing synchronization capabilities.

Note: This product is not a standalone device. It requires a Red Pitaya board for proper operation.

Features

• Interface versatility: two mikroBUS™ sockets are compatible with over 1,500 MikroElektronika Click Board devices
• Advanced synchronization: high-performance clock and trigger synchronization between multiple Red Pitaya units and other devices

Note: Depending on which Red Pitaya board model is being used, some features of the Red Pitaya Click Shield might not be applicable.

Compatibility

• The clock synchronization is only compatible with the following board models:
• STEMlab 125-14 external clock
• SDRlab 122-16 external clock
• STEMlab 125-14 4-input
• Switching between the external and internal clocks is available only on the STEMlab 125-14 4-input (CLK SEL pin), but will be compatible with all future Red Pitaya board redesigns
• Trigger synchronization and MikroElektronika Click board are compatible with all board models
