SMLD12 Long Life LEDs
ROHM Semiconductor’s SMLD12 LEDs feature a long life exceeding 90% residual luminous rate even after 1,000 hours
ROHM Semiconductor’s high-reliability InGaN blue, ice-blue, green, blue-green, and white 0603 size LEDs realize longer life (up to 20x) due to using a hybrid molding resin compared with traditional epoxy resins. This reduces the luminosity decrease due to resin deterioration normally seen in blue LEDs. Additionally, this series has achieved much higher bonding strength at a high temperature (up to 25x) to reduce delamination issues due to reflow processes versus traditional silicone resin.
