Rclamp®0512TQ TVS Diode

Semtech's RClamp®0512TQ is specifically designed to provide secondary-surge and ESD protection on high-speed ports. The RClamp0512TQ integrates low-capacitance, surge-rated steering diodes with a high-power transient voltage suppressor (TVS). The TVS utilizes snap-back or “crow-bar” technology to minimize device clamping voltage and features a high surge-current capability of 20 A. The ESD characteristics are highlighted by high-ESD withstand voltage (+/-30 kV per IEC 61000-4-2) and extremely low dynamic resistance (0.075 Ω typical). Each device will protect two lines operating at 5 V. The RCLAMP0512TQ is qualified to AEC-Q100 and works between -40°C to 125°C.

The RClamp0512TQ is in a 3-pin, SGP1006N3T package. It measures 1.0 mm x 0.6 mm with a nominal height of only 0.4 mm. The leads are finished with lead-free NiAu.
