This device is ideal for use with Bluetooth radios from Nordic Semiconductor, Dialog Semiconductor, and Texas Instruments, among others. In a tightly integrated, battery-powered design, range of the device affects the overall performance; poor connections can cause the radio to be on for longer periods of time decreasing the battery life dramatically. Adding this front-end module can help save on power consumption by allowing the host Bluetooth IC to operate at a lower output power, reducing the overall power consumption of the system.
