Stackpole adds 0.3 Milliohm values to their HCSK high current surface mount shunts with Kelvin terminations

Image of Stackpole's HCSK High Current Surface Mount Shunts Stackpole HCSK series all-metal, surface-mount current shunts with Kelvin terminations are designed for high-accuracy, low-resistance sensing. Their raised-element design and specialized materials support power ratings up to 5 W at terminal temperatures to +100°C. The series offers 1% and 5% tolerances, 50 ppm TCR, and excellent stability proven through life testing, high-temperature exposure, moisture resistance, thermal cycling, and short-time overload.

The HCSK resistance range now includes 0.3 mΩ values in the compact 1216 size, enabling accurate sensing of currents up to 129 A with the four-pin Kelvin connection, eliminating lead resistance. Its high-temperature capability, accuracy, and stability make the HCSK ideal for AI data center power modules, frequency converters, motor controls, hybrid power current sensing, and automotive engine and power-management systems.
