Stackpole RMCA series automotive-grade thick-film chip resistors are AEC-Q200 qualified and engineered for exceptional long-term reliability while also offering high power handling capability. This higher power performance enables design size reduction, greater power density, and the integration of added features within the same board space. Manufactured on dedicated production lines with stringent material and process controls, the RMCA series consistently delivers outstanding performance across all AEC-Q200 tests while reducing expected failure rates by a factor of ten or more. The RMCA product line includes two enhanced high-power options: the -HP and the even higher-rated -UP versions. These variants elevate the power handling capacity of a given size by two to three times compared to standard models.
