StarTech.com’s rack shelves and universal mounting rails improve server rack functionality and organization by providing a secure method for installing non-rack mountable equipment into EIA-310 compliant server racks. This maximizes space, facilitates airflow for cooling, and simplifies equipment maintenance and accessibility in data centers or server rooms.
The selection of rack-mountable storage makes it easy to organize and optimize server rooms. A wide variety of rack shelving and universal rail options are available to meet specific needs, and a comprehensive range of sizes and features are available.

Applications
- Provide a stable platform within a rack for mounting equipment that might not be rack mountable, such as servers, switches, routers, modems, and power distribution units (PDUs) in data center or telecommunication applications
- Mount OEM equipment featuring proprietary mounting systems, such as Dell™, IBM®, HP®, or Apple servers, into standard EIA-310 server racks
- Ensure critical components are securely mounted and easily accessible for maintenance and troubleshooting
