Vishay’s low-TCR WSBE power shunt series eases the complexity of BMS design

Image of Vishay Dale's WSBE Series Power ShuntVishay Dale’s no-compensation TCR power shunt series features a part with 10 ppm/°C, allowing for no temperature compensation. This allows for ease of design as temperature compensation is eliminated.

Features
  • High power capability that enables current sensing to 1,825 A
  • Proprietary processing technique produces extremely low resistance values
  • All-welded construction
  • Solid metal nickel-chrome alloy resistive element with a unique design for low TCR (down to ±10 ppm/°C)
  • Very low inductance: less than 5 nH
  • Low thermal EMF: less than 1.25 μV/°C
