Substation Line Industrial Ethernet Switches for Power and Substation Networks
Weidmuller substation line Industrial Ethernet switches provide PRP/HSR redundancy and layer 3 routing for maximum network uptime
The Weidmuller substation line family is specifically designed to meet the most demanding requirements for Ethernet switches in protection and control systems or in any other application related to the power grid.
The family includes compact DIN-rail models as well as 19” rack devices. All products have a redundant power supply to ensure reliability in critical environments. The family ranges from Fast Ethernet switches to 10 GB products with sophisticated features such as time synchronization according to PTPv2, Parallel Redundancy Protocol/High-availability Seamless Redundancy (PRP/HSR) RedBox function to build networks with zero recovery time or Layer 3 capabilities.
All these features, combined with the available port combinations, including copper and optical fiber ports, allow users to find the most suitable product for any specific requirement.
