This view shows the entire 9159 system. By placing a socket on one end of the PCB and a plug on the other, the designer can build a single LED board regardless of where it is in the assembly . This simplifies his entire product and only requires him to build a single PCB which is a huge design and cost savings. The wired plug creates the input of power and signals onto the PCB’s and the 2 position shorting socket will close the circuit.
