Embedded Chip Antennas

Amphenol RF embedded antennas are made from ceramic or FR-4 materials with a small size enabling efficient integration into compact devices

Image of Amphenol RF's Embedded Chip Antennas Amphenol RF's wide variety of embedded antennas are designed for use inside connected devices. By surface mounting the chip antenna directly on the PCB, the need for external antennas is eliminated. These embedded antennas are manufactured out of ceramic or FR-4 materials, and the small size enables efficient integration into compact devices where space is at a premium. Embedded chip antennas typically have a monopole, loop, or IFA design to provide optimal performance. These compact, cost-effective, and off-the-shelf embedded antenna solution supports a wide frequency range of 0.4 GHz through 8.5 GHz, including cellular (4G/LTE/5G-FR1) and complementary (Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/GNSS/LoRa/UWB) antennas.
