ILLUMRA’s 902 MHz motion and light illumination sensor for commercial applications. The ILLUMRA motion and light sensor reports motion detection and light measurements wirelessly to ILLUMRA relays and controllers. The E9T-MDS has an integrated solar cell with a coin battery backup slot and can operate without the battery, even in darkness, for up to four days. ILLUMRA developed a series of functions within the 902 MHz controllers and relays to enable a wide variety of uses for their motion and light sensors. The occupancy/vacancy sensors’ default off time is 15 minutes. Additional features can be accessed using compatible relays. The E9T-MDS periodically transmits the measured light level in a room and the status of the motion detection sensor. The motion sensor of this device is permanently active, so motion is reported right away. Key parameters of the 902 MHz sensor can be configured using a mobile phone or tablet and the integrated NFC (ISO 14443) interface. It has a simple configuration interface consisting of one button, one switch, and one LED, allowing for configuration without additional tools. The E9T-MDS supports secure communication with AES-128 encryption and authentication based on a random, device-unique private key. Applications with the ILLUMRA 902 MHz motion and light sensor include lighting control based on presence and ambient light level as well as space utilization and occupancy monitoring. As an added benefit, ILLUMRA offers in-house pre-commissioning to support a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. ILLUMRA pre-linking (commissioning) allows customers to install ILLUMRA products without the hassle or labor costs associated with onsite commissioning or linking.
