RPA20-AW and RPA30-AW Series DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power's RPA-AW series are high-power density, wide-input voltage range, 20 and 30 W DC/DC converters in an industry-standard 1" x 1" case size. Despite their small size, the RPAXX-AW converters are fully specified devices with output currents up to 88% efficiency at 6 A for the RPA20-AW, and up to 89% efficiency with no minimum load at 7.5 A for the RPA30-AW with up to 1600 V_DC isolation, tight regulation, and low ripple/noise figures. The outputs are also fully protected against over-temperature, short-circuits, over-current, and over-voltage, and the single-output version offers a ±10% trim range. A heatsink option is available to extend the operating temperature range up to 56°C without derating. The converters are UL and EN50155 certified and find many uses in railway and industrial applications where board space is at a premium.
