The LSP10 Series connection module cuts the luminaire power off in a surge event, which triggers a maintenance call to replace the module and recover the light. The series connection will also protect the fixture from any subsequent surge events once the thermal elements are activated, since it will be isolated from the line. With a parallel version, the fixture is exposed once the elements activate.
