AMELA Series Molded Inductors

Abracon’s AMELA series molded power inductors are designed for compact automotive, industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics designs. These miniature 2.0 mm x 2.5 mm inductors work ideally for DC/DC conversion in ultra-compact spaces requiring high current, high efficiency, and EMI suppression. These molded power inductors offer increased power densities (current), improved efficiency (DCR), and superior shielding (EMI) at wide operating temperature ranges. An extensive range of package sizes and inductance values is available.

The AMELA series flat wire design optimizes current and DCR performance for miniature package sizes. The flat wire type improves saturation and temperature rise currents. A metal alloy powder core is utilized for higher power densities with lower DCRs and core losses.
